Vannida Hubxaythong

Vannida Hubxaythong has 11 years experiences working with INGOs in fields related to education, community development and human trafficking. After her graduation from the faculty of law in 2006, she started her career as a social worker for AFESIP Lao PDR, working for reintegration of trafficking victims. Later, she continued this work with Village Focus International and stayed for 5 years. In 2014, she continued her career in education as a literacy program officer with Room to Read Lao.  

Vannida's strength is to provide capacity building in particular for young people. She continuously works in the fields of TVET, skills development and life skills with a strong focus to bring young people into employment.

In March 2018, she joined Swisscontact as Provincial Technical officer for the Pheun Than Heng A Sip (PTHAS) training programme.

In 2019-2020, she was a Provincial Coordinator for the MIGIP project and the Pheun Than Heng A Sip (PTHAS) training programme.

Currently, she is a National Technical Coordinator for the Vocational Training and Employment Support Services (VTESS)
