Design and Implementation of Integrated Destination Evaluations to support the Development of the Tourism Sector in Peru

This consultancy mainly supports the work of the WBG Project Program: Strengthening the Competitiveness of Prioritized Tourist Destinations. The work focuses on the project's three priority destinations: Arequipa, Amazonas (specifically the Utcubamba Upper Valley) and the Northern Beaches. The Government of Peru has emphasized the need to improve destination management throughout the country - a strategic approach that seeks to coordinate all stakeholders in turning a destination into a cohesive and sustainable tourist attraction.
