Turkish Exposure to Bangladesh on Cutting-Edge Land Port Management System

Bangladesh Land Port Authority (BLPA), Ministry of Shipping (MoS), and Swisscontact Bangladesh officials attended a revelation visit programme, titled “Learning Contemporary Approaches for Modern Land e-Port Management Systems” in Istanbul, Turkey from 30 July to 5 August 2023.

The seven (7)-day long exposure mission was organised by Swisscontact Bangladesh, in cooperation with MAKR Marmara Dry Port Authority, Istanbul University, and İpsala-Kipi Border Authority. The participants have widely understood through this benchmarking exposure mission about the adoption of digital cutting-edge technology in port management, marking a significant accomplishment for the Digitalisation of Border Procedures at Bhomra Land Port (DBLP) project of the Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation, implemented by Swisscontact.
