We are proud to announce CAMESCO23 scheduled for December 7th – 8th 2023 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

In the dynamic landscape of Cambodia's entrepreneurial and investment ecosystem, the Cambodia’s Ecosystem Strengthening Conference 2023 (CAMESCO23) is building up to be a beacon for collaboration, innovation, and growth. Established in 2022, CAMESCO has been instrumental in fostering connections among like-minded stakeholders to bolster Cambodia's entrepreneurship and investment ecosystem.

As an annual initiative, CAMESCO serves as a dedicated platform, amplifying best practices and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship among like-minded stakeholders. This conference is not just an event; it is a commitment to the Cambodian Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. Organized and co-financed by Khmer Enterprise (KE), the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) within the Enhancing Entrepreneurial Ecosystem and Investment (3Ei) initiative, CAMESCO23 is tailored to address the unique needs and opportunities within Cambodia.

The commitment is further emboldened with CAMESCO23 being sponsored by ABA Bank, ADB Frontiers, Sasakawa Peace Foundation (SPF), the Improving Small Package Exports for SMEs project via the Small Package Exporting Champions (SPEC) initiative. CAMESCO23 also has strategic partnership with Asian Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN), Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) and Global Steering Group for Impact Investment (GSG), and media partners including Cambodia Investment Review (CIR) and B2B Cambodia.

The agenda of CAMESCO23 unfolds with insights into the year-round summary of Cambodia's entrepreneurial ecosystem initiatives, including Give a Day and Ecosystem Builder Network (EBN) meetings. Participants will delve into findings on the Gender Lens Investing landscape in Cambodia, exploring challenges, opportunities, and strategies to stimulate a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. The conference will then shift focus to showcase regional and global best practices in promoting inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems and investments, with a specific emphasis on their implications in Cambodia. An engaging discussion will ensue, exploring insights and strategies to make Cambodia more attractive for investment, fostering a robust investment pipeline. CAMESCO23 is poised to be the go-to signature event for social impact investing information, opportunities, and networking in Cambodia.

In conjunction with the main conference, CAMESCO23 will host two impactful side workshops on December 7. The first, "Demystifying Blended Finance," co-organized with Convergence, aims to define blended finance structures, share market trends and examples, and foster discussions on effective blended finance in Cambodia. This workshop will be presented by Mr. Ritesh Thakkar, Senior Advisor in Asia Pacific Region, Convergence. The second workshop, "Understanding the Accelerator Model," co-organized with ANDE, will differentiate between accelerator and incubator models, share best practices for effective accelerator programs, and provide insights and tools for measuring program impact. This will be presented by Abigayle Davidson, Director of Research & Impact at the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs and leader of the Global Accelerator Learning Initiative (GALI).

CAMESCO23 is more than just a conference; it is an invitation to actively shape the future of Cambodia's entrepreneurial ecosystem. With over 150 registered ecosystem actors, this event stands as the go-to platform for those invested in the progress of Cambodia. Join us on December 8, 2023, to be part of a collaborative journey that empowers and elevates Cambodia's entrepreneurial spirit. CAMESCO23 is your opportunity to contribute to the vibrant tapestry of Cambodia's entrepreneurial future.
