The 7th Ecosystem Builder Network (EBN) event was successfully organized on March 29th, 2024, highlighting EBN's commitment to fostering collaboration and strategic planning to positively shape Cambodia's entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Since its inception in 2022, EBN has brought together 37 institutions, primarily comprising government entities, development partners, and projects supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The EBN meetings, held quarterly, serve as a platform for collaboration and learning among stakeholders, allowing them to identify market gaps and opportunities. These gatherings are instrumental in formulating an impactful framework for the upcoming entrepreneurial ecosystem roadmap.

The roadmap, currently under development by a working group of 9 members, representing from Khmer Enterprise, Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Oxfam, United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), International Labor Organization (ILO), Netherlands Development Organization (SNV), GIZ, and Swisscontact. The working group aims to analyze gaps and opportunities in Cambodia's entrepreneurial ecosystem. The roadmap will help to identify the current actors and programs in both the supporting and regulatory functions that would help facilitate the growth of the startup and growth enterprises (through the six stages of the journey of an entrepreneur).

The 7th EBN meeting, the first for 2024, focused on recapping collective feedback received during the Give a Day events in 2023, sharing preliminary findings on the roadmap's progress, and seeking validation and feedback for further inputs. A group discussion, organized to collect information and seek validation on the preliminary findings, utilized the six domains of the Isenberg Model as the basic structure for discussion.

The progress on an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Roadmap was shared by Cécile Dahomé, Executive Director, Sevea Consulting. This was followed by a group discussion on six domains of Isenberg Model.
