Sorphorn Souk

Sorphorn is the Communications and Partnership Director for Swisscontact in Cambodia started in early 2018. In addition to ensuring the professional communication within Swisscontact and the stakeholders and the focus person for the external relation and the event management. Sorphorn is also a Country Coordinator for the Senior Expert Contact (SEC) in which she facilitates many Swiss experts to strengthen SMEs in Cambodia. In prior to this, Sorphorn highly experienced in Fundraising for NGOs where she worked closely with the public and private sector to manage local and regional funding for supporting education and vocational training programmes in the country.

Sorphorn’s 10 years of professional experience in communication with INGO and private agency - Enfant&Dévelopement, Pour un Sourire d’Enfant, Sabay Digital Corporation and 5 years in programme development at universities. Sorphorn holds a MSc in Animal Production, Environment, Hygiene and Quality from University François Rabelais Tours, France which located in Vietnam in 2006 and a BSc in Agronomy from the Royal University of Agriculture in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in 2005.
