BOREY has earned his bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management and completed an exchange study in Sustainable Development course from Singapore, funded by the Temasek POLYTECHNIC. He also participated in PSU course of Thai Cultural programme in Thailand. He Passionate with strong desire to support development sector in Cambodia. He started involving in development field following his graduation, working related to tourism promotion, education, environment, sustainable agriculture, and trade facilitation project.

BOREY joined Swisscontact Cambodia as Monitoring and Results Measurement Officer (MRM) in 2020 for an ICT Evaluation for Smallholders Project as a part of Agriculture Services Programme for Innovation, Resilience and Extension (ASPIRE) project of the MAFF and BRONX Technology Co., Ltd, funded by the MAFRA and IFAD. Currently, BOREY is working as a Monitoring and Results Measurement person for another project called Improving Small Package e-Trade for SMEs (SeT4SME) at Swisscontact.

Before that, BOREY worked at WonderLab Inc Cambodia as an Assessment and Data Analyst Officer on an educational project for primary education which was funded by Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA). He also had other experiences in research field such as data collector for global women project and Swisscontact, feasibility study of community based-ecotourism as well as community learning service project of Department of Tourism. BOREY had also participated as a volunteer in various short implementation projects related to environment and education such Eco-life Cambodia, Mentoring program, YSEALI Unified-Ride to Rice, Young Ambassador for SDGs, and so on.
