Uttoron: Preparing the trainees for joining the workforce

Uttoron arranged Pre-employment Capacity Development Orientation (PCDO) workshop for Mobile Phone Servicing (MPS) trainees on 23rd February and 24th February 2022. This workshop aims to help the graduate trainees improve communication skills and overcome workplace challenges. During this day-long workshop, trainees attend sessions on time/team management effective communications and participate in group activities to better understand standard workplace rules and regulations. One of the unique dimensions of the workshop is a session conducted by the employers. During this session, employers present industry policies, etiquettes, overtime and other general rules and answer questions from the trainees. This face-to-face interaction with the employers help the trainees to get a better understanding of the professional environment.
