From the previous phase of Uttoron, it has been realised that, to ensure success in the work space, need for soft skills (communication skill, time management, teamwork) are as important as technical skills. From this realisation, Uttoron has planned to organise a one-day pre-employment capacity development workshop. Through various activities, trainees are oriented about the rules and regulation of the workplace and helped to enhance their soft skills to minimise job-related challenges. Another attraction of the workshop was the presentation and question/answer session by the industry experts. In this session, trainees could directly ask questions to the employers about employment related issues and get better conception regarding workplace requirements and policies. The presence of the industry experts raised interest and enthusiasm among the trainees. Guest speakers of the workshop were Rojina Akter, Al-Mamun, Tareq Bin Babu and Jony Bosak from the Human Resource department of PRAN-RFL group.
