Uttoron project organised Training of Trainers (TOT) for E-Learning and Earning. These workshops were designed following the Bangladesh Government’s Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBT&A) standard.

Uttoron project took the initiative to create access to training through a partnership with Sylhet City Corporation. Uttoron project modernised the Bholananda Uttoron Technical Training Centre, and the honorable mayor of Sylhet City Corporation, Mr Ariful Haque Chowdhury, recently inaugurated the training centre. Sylhet City Corporation will operate the training centre with an organisation named E-Learning and Earning through Public Private Partnership (PPP).

To ensure quality training, experienced trainers and facilitators are crucial. To provide that, the Uttoron project organised Training of Trainers (TOT) for E-Learning and Earning. These workshops were designed following the Bangladesh Government’s Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBT&A) standard.

Trainers from E-Learning and Earning participated in this five-day workshop. The training covered essential topics such as communication, inclusivity, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), task analysis of job function, trainees’ assessment standards, etc. The participants were also oriented about various government-issued standards such as the TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) system in Bangladesh, the National Skills development policy (NSDP) and different levels of NTVQF (National Technical and Vocational Qualifications Framework).
