The dialogue was held at the Ministry office at the Secretariat, Government of Bangladesh. The chair of the event was Md. Akhter Hossain, honorable secretary of Ministry of Youth and Sports. At the session, Uttoron team made a presentation on Swisscontact and the project itself. During the presentation, the Team Leader of Uttoron described the global presence of Swisscontact and how it is contributing to the attainment of SDG in Bangladesh. The project objective, target and previous achievement was also explained to the audience. While highlighting the specialty of the project, the special tools and techniques of Uttoron for trainee selection was described. Uttoron team also mentioned the use of a Rapid Market Assessment tool for identifying the trades that have higher demand in the Sylhet region. Honorable secretary appreciated the advance approaches of Uttoron project in developing the skills of the youth of Bangladesh. He expressed interest in working with Swisscontact in the skills sector through collaboration with the Department of Youth Development.
