Using Data to Feed the Next Strategic Moves in Agriculture

How can grants and subsidies serve a result-oriented goal? What more can sector associations do to advocate and bring the desired change? These were among the questions explored today at a workshop that brought together representatives of businesses and associations in the agriculture and food processing sector, of the Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Rural Development, and donor organizations. Data collected halfway through a study commissioned by the PPSE will be analyzed to feed continued discussion about existing weaknesses, ideas for further progress and recommendations that can be translated into specific strategies to develop the sector. The workshop was organized by the Riinvest Institute.
