UNO attends Uttoron's Certificate Giving Ceremony

“Initiatives like Uttoron training is crucial for achieving the mission 2021 for the Bangladesh Government and in eliminating unemployment from the country. A good teacher can make a difference in the lives of a student, and I believe the knowledge gained from this workshop will motivate the trainers to improve the socio-economic status of the youth” said Kazi Mohua Momtaz, UNO, Sylhet Sadar Upazilla at the Training of Trainers (ToT) Certificate Giving Ceremony. The ceremony was held on 16 September 2020 at Hotel Vally Garden, Sylhet. Three of the best performing students also received an award from the honorable UNO.

The five-day-long workshop on Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBT&A) intended to capacitate a pool of instructors on pedagogy and modern teaching techniques. At the event, the training participants also shared their training experience. They explained how practical the training was in understanding new theories and applications to overcome challenges in the classroom.

The primary objective of the five-day long Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop on Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBT&A) was to create a pull of instructors for Uttoron project so they can impart a high-quality training and a superior learning experience for participating trainees. The workshop covered all modern topics of classroom management and pedagogical aspects of teaching. At the event two of the training participants shared their training experience and explained how it will help them in future to overcome challenges in the classroom.
