High-quality education is as ever available: the EdUP Project presents three new mobile applications developed according to training manuals for the profession of “installer of sanitary technical systems and equipment.

The EdUP Project team transformed the training manuals Heating, Water Supply, and Water Drainage into a digital format. With the first pilot project, the Pipes and Fittings mobile app, launched a year ago, currently, all key areas of study have been covered by the e-learning opportunities.

"First educational resource designed completely in the Ukrainian language”

No matter the students’ location or whether they have an Internet connection, learning is always at their fingertips. Interactive tutorials are designed in simple language, with plenty of illustrations and feature questions to test knowledge. The experience of the pilot project proved that this training format is attractive and immersive, and helps adapt the educational process to new realities.

With the updated functionality of the apps, users can make selections, insert notes, copy texts and zoom images. It is also possible to download the application on a computer. In this way, interactive textbooks can be easily and fully integrated into the educational process.

On top of that, the information contained therein will be useful to everyone interested in plumbing or a professional working in this sphere to maintain up-to-date knowledge.

All mobile applications are available for download: from the Play Market for Android mobile devices and from the EdUP website for use on computers.

"We have created the first fully Ukrainian-language educational resource that covers 80% of mandatory knowledge for students of plumbing professions. Of course, one can find tons of videos online, but they're often of poor quality. What's important is that all the information is up-to-date and can be promptly updated"

Public Private Partnership to Improved Professional Education in Ukraine
Due to the war's impact and technological advancements, Ukraine faces a shortage of skilled labor across sectors, causing concern among companies. Employers are ready to provide competitive wages and modern resources but face challenges due to stereotypes about vocational school graduates. In response, the government has initiated vocational education reforms, emphasizing decentralized vocational education and training to align skills with local economic needs. The Ministry of Education and Science collaborates with businesses and organizations to enhance professional training quality, attract additional resources, and modernize education.
