New Technologies and Dual Training: DC dVET interviews ProJoven Programme Manager

The Donor Committee for dual Vocational Education and Training (DC dVET), comprising Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Liechtenstein, interviewed project managers from Kosovo, Pakistan, Moldova and Honduras on the challenges and opportunities related to new technologies for VET systems. Among the interviewees is Olga Tinoco, Head of the ProJoven Programme of the Swiss Cooperation in Honduras, which is implemented by Swisscontact.

The use of new technologies in vocational training within the ProJoven Programme

The ProJoven project promotes the use of simulators for the training of heavy machinery operators, which will be expanded to other occupations such as electricity or elevators. It also fosters the training of 3D printer operators to manufacture prosthetics or implants.
