M4C’s partner AR Malik gears up agricultural capacity-building activity in char region

Earlier in this year, Making Markets Work for the Chars (M4C) signed agreement with A.R. Malik Seeds (Pvt.) Ltd. on February 11, 2021 at AR Malik office premises with the objective to implement quality agro-inputs sales development for the char markets (Kurigram, Rangpur, Lalmonirhat, Gaibandha, and Jamalpur districts) in profitable and sustainable manner.  

Under this partnership with M4C, AR Malik is promoting cultivation of various vegetables such as Cauliflower, Cabbage, Bitter gourd, Radish, Spinach, Cucumber, Ladies finger, Chili, Coriander, Sweet Pumpkin, Pumpkin, Snack gourd, Dhundal, Brinjal in altogether 11 upazillas of Kurigram, Lalmonirhaat and Rangpur districts. Through this partnership, the company is carrying out primarily activities such as Staff Orientation, Spot Meeting, Farmers Meeting, Demo Plot, Post-harvest, and Market Linkages training.
