Launching & MoU signing event of Bhairab , PRABRIDDHI

On 7th December 2022, an MoU was signed at a launching event in Bhairab, between Bhairab Paduka Karkhana Malik Somobay Somiti Ltd. and Swisscontact Bangladesh. Through this collaboration, the Swiss-supported PRABRIDDHI-Local Economic Development (LED) project will provide support to the footwear sector of Bhairab. Support will be provided mainly in the areas of digitisation, technology upgradation, market expansion, market linkages, exposure and promotion, quality improvement and sustainable waste management. In the event, mayor, secretary, representatives of the Bhairab municipality, footwear sector, relevant stakeholder organisations, and Swisscontact were present.
