Knowledge Sharing at the 2019 CESAF Regional Meeting

On 30th April and 1st May 2019, Swisscontact Central, East and Southern African (CESAF) team representatives met in Nairobi, Kenya for their annual regional meeting.
The 2-day meeting which embraced the theme ‘Dare To Share’, saw country representatives from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, DR Congo, Mozambique and South Africa present innovations they had implemented in their project activities the previous year. The meeting not only facilitated learning from each other but also provided a networking platform as several bilateral talks were held to strengthen the region's delivery on 14 of its projects. An inspiring presentation from a consultant, Mr. Andrew Mnjama, on the emerging trends in the provision of financial services was also made.
The region was honoured to host Swisscontact’s Global CEO, Mr. Samuel Bon, who presented Swisscontact’s strategy and freely interacted with many country representatives in attendance. Other representatives present from Head Office include; Mr. Silvan Ziegler, the Head of Acquisitions and Ms. Katharina Werlen, from the Finance Department.
