Innovation in education and modernization of institutions are the foundations of increasing the quality of plumbing education in Ukraine in alignment with labor market demand. To explore how to better achieve this, stakeholders from the education system, business community, and supporting organizations got together at the six-day conference “Innovation in modern plumbing education” in Zhytomyr.

The conference consisted of the theoretical and practical parts, which enabled participants to share knowledge, test skills, and network. Attending the conference were in total 36 participants from 20 vocational schools of Ukraine.

The purpose of this event was to familiarize the masters of vocational training and teachers with new technologies and equipment, principles of work and features of installation and maintenance

In the framework of the conference, first year school students had the opportunity to explore details of the profession, test instruments and receive first hand advice on how to succeed in career life.

Another master class gathered children to present a number of technical and vocational professions, namely plumbing, and help them choose their career journey.
