Creating access to training for the youth

Uttoron built a permanent training facility in collaboration with SCC at the heart of Sylhet city to create easy access to quality training for youth. This is the first time a city corporation has taken such an initiative in Bangladesh.

Uttoron arranged an inauguration ceremony in Sylhet to begin the operation of the Bholananda Uttoron Technical Training Centre. The honorable mayor of Sylhet City Corporation (SCC), Ariful Haque Chowdhury, inaugurated and visited the training centre.

Uttoron built a permanent training facility in collaboration with SCC at the heart of Sylhet city to create easy access to quality training for youth. This is the first time a city corporation has taken such an initiative in Bangladesh. Uttoron capacitated the training centre named “Bholananda Uttoron Technical Training Centre”. This training centre can provide training of up to 1000 trainees on five trades. Sylhet City Corporation will operate the training centre through Public Private Partnership (PPP) with E-learning and Earning. The training centre is well equipped and prepared to provide technical training to the youth.
