Better Skills for Better Lives for Young Cambodians

The Dual Vocational Training (DVT), an intervention of the Skills Development Programme (SDP), provides vocational skills training in the training centre and on-the-job practice in enterprises for disadvantaged young women and men from Kratie, Preah Vihear, and Stung Treng. Having skills transformed the lives of the graduates by helping them gaining more self-confidence, a job and a better income. Find out about the inspirational life changing experiences of our graduates from Cambodia through this video.

The SDP is mandated by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). Swisscontact implements the first phase of SDP (2016 to 2020) in a consortium with INBAS. The programme aims to increase income and employment opportunities for young women and men in three rural provinces of Cambodia, namely Preah Vihear, Stung Treng and Kratie.
