A Gala Dinner of Cook Apprentices

The delicious four course menu that was served during the event was planned and prepared by the apprentices and their trainers.The gala dinner was organised to celebrate the achievements and efforts made by the apprentices over the last 18 months of dual apprenticeship training. 

Dual apprenticeship training is being promoted by the Vocational Skills Development Program (VSDP) in Myanmar. The Program is implemented by Swisscontact, is financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and has been implementing activities in the country since February 2014. The VSDP is currently implementing two apprenticeship training courses, one for cooks and the other for agricultural machinery mechanics.
