AI, Automation & Acquisition Administration Officer

Support the Acquisition & Services team in delivering high-quality bid support, due diligence services and CRM and Data Management, while progressively introducing automation into repetitive acquisition processes using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform and AI agents.

In the initial phase, the role will focus mainly on acquisition administration and CRM support, progressively taking on increased responsibility for AI and automation in the technology team.

For our office in Morogoro, Tanzania, we are looking for an AI, Automation & Acquisition Administration Officer who will play a key role in supporting our acquisition and business development processes while driving innovation through AI and automation. Working closely with colleagues across the Business Development and Technology teams, you will become a trusted point of contact for administrative excellence, data quality and process reliability, while helping to design and implement more efficient and innovative ways of working. The position is available from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement with an initial one-year contract and option of renewal.

Tasks

Acquisition Admin and CRM Support

  • Prepare eligibility /admin documents for the proposals
  • Support signature and kick-off processes.
  • Due diligence and capacity assessment processes.
  • Maintain acquisition knowledge assets, templates and repositories.
  • Support CRM data quality assurance and data entry during peak periods, maintain expert and part-ner databases, and contribute to data analytics.

AI & Process Automation in Acquisitions

  • Develop, test, deploy and improve AI agents together with business users, using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Build workflows using Power Automate and the Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Analyse Business Development (and other institutional) processes, identify inefficiencies and au-tomate them.
  • Document and maintain solutions and contribute to Swisscontact's AI and automation standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the AI & Power platform Expert in the Technology team to ensure scalable and secure implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or higher in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, AI Management, Digital Business or related field.
  • 3 or more years of general professional work experience is an asset.
  • Genuine enjoyment of administrative and organisational work, particularly document management, coordinating activities, and ensuring smooth and accurate processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio.
  • Comfort working with CRM systems, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially with legal documents and data, and ability to manage coordination/admin tasks under time pressure.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills (C2). French and Spanish are an asset.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable working with both business and technical stakeholders.
