Successful Implementation of the OKR System at the Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development

The Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development has successfully launched the OKR system, aligning team goals with strategic priorities and marking a key step toward a more results-driven and transparent organization.

On May 26, the final event of the OKR implementation project took place. The entire team of the Office presented and aligned their quarterly OKRs, developed by each department based on the institution’s strategic goals.

  • 14 teams presented their objectives
  • Final adjustments were made based on constructive feedback
  • The meeting was held in a spirit of collaboration, engagement, and professional dialogue

This event marked the completion of the project phase of OKR implementation, but it also laid the foundation for the next stage — the development of a sustainable internal OKR management system.

Swiss Import Promotion Programme
The Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO) is a well-established mandate of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) within the framework of its economic development cooperation. The programme has been implemented by Swisscontact since 2017 and is now in phase 2 (2021-2025).

The overall objective of SIPPO is to integrate developing and transition countries into world trade. In a facilitation role, SIPPO advises and supports so-called Business Support Organisations (BSOs) in 12 partner countries. Through innovative and targeted export promotion services, BSOs strengthen the export capabilities of companies intending to export and facilitate market access and exports to Switzerland, the EU, and regional markets.
