Give a Day 7: Cambodia Digital Economy and FinTech Development Landscape and Policy

On 19 August, Khmer Enterprise, WE Act via Pac and Swisscontact organized the 7th “Give a Day” monthly meeting which is an initiative within the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Building (EEB) Project. The meeting was attended 63 participants representing investors, start-ups, entrepreneurial support organizations, government among others. 

The topic focused on “Cambodia Digital Economy and FinTech Development Landscape and Policy”. The discussion centred around the policy framework on Cambodia digital economy and society, initial thoughts on draft of fintech development policy and start-up ecosystem report in Cambodia. There was a lively discussion about the challenges and opportunities for relevant stakeholders to leverage this fintech opportunity. 

H.E. Dr. TAING Nguonly, Executive Director, Techo Startup Center  nicely presented the Cambodia Digital Economy and FinTech Landscape and Development Policy and was appreciated by all the participants.
