Discovered on LinkedIn, GWANI’s web development training was the spark. Designed with ICT-sector partners, the programme brings young talent closer to the workplace through hands-on, practice-based learning.
Zeinabou quickly joined EE Solution, a partner company recognised for its digital expertise. This bridge between GWANI and the private sector offered her a real working environment, aligned with market needs and employer expectations.
For three months, Zeinabou completed an intensive web development course. Guided by experienced trainers, she built solid foundations in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and database management. More importantly, she learned professional rigour and team-based work: clear methods, defined goals, and real project management.
Beyond the technical skills, the programme strengthened her soft skills: perseverance, organisation, autonomy, and a capacity for self-learning, qualities that now define her as a determined, ambitious developer.
Today, Zeinabou is putting her learning to work. During her internship at Impact Com Media, she has already developed two websites for NGOs, with tangible effects on their visibility and operational effectiveness.
In parallel, she launched ZeeCom, her micro‑business dedicated to website creation and social media management. Her routine is disciplined: planning in the morning, development and testing in the afternoon, online training in the evening, to keep improving and scale her project.
In the medium term, Zeinabou aims to transform ZeeCom into a full web agency and train other young people, especially women, to enter the digital field. She champions inclusive, inspiring leadership.
Zeinabou’s story shows the power of an ecosystem that connects training with business. Thanks to GWANI, a programme of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), and EE Solution, she found a solid framework to learn and launch her career. That framework became a springboard.
It’s about more than code: each project creates job opportunities, supports growing businesses, and helps communities evolve. Zeinabou’s message is clear: digital is not a privilege, it’s a space to claim.
