Weeryue Chiapaoyue joined Swisscontact as a Junior Program Officer for the SCP Lao Project in August 2025, based in Luang Prabang Province. With a strong background in cross-cultural communication and project facilitation, Weer is dedicated to promoting sustainable practices and empowering local communities.
His experience includes volunteering for community development initiatives, participating in the Global Ugrad Program in the U.S., and assisting at the Young Entrepreneur Support Center. Moreover, he is fluent in Hmong, Lao, English, and Thai.
Weer Yue Chiapaoyue holds a Bachelor's degree from Souphanouvong University in Luang Prabang Province and graduated in 2025. His experiences on the projects he did during university are valued for his role, like, winning grants from the USAID and other organizations to organize student and social projects, where he is highly involved in community works.
