In June 2022, Swisscontact hired Sompasong Seesonexay, a Provincial Technical Coordinator for Employment Support Services (ESS) based in Khammouan Province. Her main tasks include assisting with the implementation of the VTESS Project's Component 2 – Employment Support Services (ESS), as well as collaborating with partners in the provinces, particularly coaches, training providers, employers, and other relevant stakeholders. In 2006, she received a Bachelor's Degree in Geography Teacher from the National University of Laos (NUoL), as well as a Kavin College Higher Diploma in English for Business.
She formerly worked at Room to Read as a Literacy Program Officer, where she was responsible for the implementation of the Literacy program for a group of schools, guaranteeing timely, efficient, and well-coordinated execution, and serving as the technical expert in the process.
