Thipphaphone Vongphachanh started an internship at Swisscontact in Lao PDR in March 2025 as an Programme Associate for Administration. Following a successful six-month internship, she was promoted to Junior Technical Officer for the Waste to Value (W2V) project. In her current role, Thipphaphone is responsible for ensuring the high-quality technical implementation of project activities as specified in project documentation.
Additionally, she supports the Provincial Technical Coordinator in collaborating with local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to identify sustainable suppliers, pilot innovative products, and foster business development through mutually beneficial partnerships.
Thipphaphone holds a Bachelor's Degree of Sociology from Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary. Before joining Swisscontact, she gained substantial experience working with various organizations, including the Asian Law Students' Association of Laos and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Laos.
