Phone Syhoumpheune joined Swisscontact in August 2025 as Junior IT and Administration Support Officer for the Digital Literacy Initiative (DLI) Project, based in Xiengkhouang Province. In this role, he collaborates closely with the provincial coordinator to facilitate digital literacy training and ensure the smooth operation of the provincial office.
A recent graduate with a Higher Diploma in Information Technology from the Lao-Korea Institute for Skill Development, Phone possesses a solid foundation in computer programming and IT support. He is proficient in various programming languages, including HTML, CSS, C, and JavaScript, and has hands-on experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
Prior to joining Swisscontact, Phone worked as a Project Assistant with Plan International Laos, where he collected and managed data for donor reporting and supported community communication activities. His volunteer experience with the Gender Development Association further honed his organizational and teamwork skills.
