Karen Alexandria is a seasoned leader in sustainable market development with more than 18 years of experience across agriculture, education, technology and consumer goods. Currently the Country Director of Swisscontact Indonesia, she drives inclusive business strategies and market-driven development programmes that foster sustainable economic growth. Before joining Swisscontact, Karen held leadership and consulting roles with the Tanoto Foundation, the Galva Group, Palladium and Mitsubishi Australia, including her work on the Australian government’s flagship programme PRISMA (the Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Rural Economic Development). She holds a Master’s degree in international business and marketing from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and a Bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies from Universitas Indonesia, and has received prestigious recognitions such as an Australia Award and the Endeavour Scholarship.
