Dara Kong joined Swisscontact in May 2018 as Senior Hospitality Intervention Manager for the Skills Development Programme (SDP) in Cambodia. He brings over 21 years of professional experience in hospitality and tourism management, as well as in education and training within an international vocational hospitality and hotel school.

Dara has extensive international exposure, including overseas experience, international study tours, regional meetings, workshops, and professional engagements across Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Nepal.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management and Community Development from Build Bright University, as well as an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management from Paul Dubrule Hotel and Tourism School. Dara is a National Master Trainer and Assessor in the Hospitality and Tourism Sector and a member of the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Assessor Committee, accredited by the Ministry of Tourism.

Dara has completed a broad range of professional development programmes, including Capacity Building for Tourism Vocational Training, National Master Trainer and Assessor, Fabulous Facilitation, Leadership and Management Skills, Education and Entrepreneurship, Training of Trainers, Training of Assessors, and Quality Assurance in Higher Education.
