After nearly nine successful years as Country Director of Swisscontact Cambodia, Rajiv Pradhan was appointed to establish and lead Swisscontact Ghana as Country Director in August 2024. With over 30 years of experience in leadership, program management, and private sector development, Rajiv has worked across Nepal, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and now Ghana.
He brings a strong track record in inclusive business, market systems development, impact investing, green jobs, and regenerative agriculture. Prior to Swisscontact, he held leadership roles with organizations such as iDE Bangladesh.
Rajiv is passionate about nurturing young talent, mentoring emerging leaders, and building organizations from the ground up. He thrives in roles that require vision, turnaround leadership, and driving sustainable growth.
In Ghana, Rajiv is focused on implementing the Umbrella Approach, which he co-created with Swisscontact colleagues. This approach emphasizes collaboration with system actors to re-engineer systems where needed, using brand value as a key driver for sustainable change and impact.
