18.11.2019
A new touristic attraction is added to the list of things to do in Prizren. Via Ferrata “Panorama” is a 500 meter long climbing trail in Lumbardhi Gorge that will enable outdoor enthusiasts to test their limits in the south of Kosovo mountains.

This touristic product is a good example of collaboration at the local economic development level towards the overall goal of economic growth. The product is managed by the Mountaineering Association “Sharri”. It was developed with support of the Municipality of Prizren and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), and technical assistance by “Marimangat” in Pejë/Peć.

Mayor Haskuka noted that Prizren has now a new attraction that will further grow the mountain tourism in this region and will enrich the city’s tourism offer. For Katharina Stocker, Head of SDC in Kosovo, this product is another activity that aims to develop the tourism sector, and through that, create new jobs.

The Via Ferrata "Panorama" was inaugurated on 18 November 2019 at a ceremony officiated by the Mayor of Prizren Mytaher Haskuka, the Municipal Director for Tourism and Economic Development Sevil Kazaz, tje Head of Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation Katharina Stocker, and the President of the Mountaineering Association “Sharri” Sadik Shporta, and guests.
