Uttoron team attends a seminar on “Skills and Awareness for Overseas Employment”

Uttoron team attended a seminar entitled "Skills and awareness for overseas employment" organised by the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment and District Commissioner at Moulvibazar DC office on 7 September 2020. The chief guest of the seminar was Mir Nahid Hasan, honorable Deputy Secretary of Moulavibazar district. Additionally, Md. Fajlur Rahman, Mayor, Moulavibazar and Md. Kamal Hossain, Chairman, Upozilla Parishad, Moulavibazar Sadar, and Chairman Md. Mamunur Rashid, ADC, Moulavibazar attended the seminar as special guests.

The objective of the seminar was to inform people about the skills training and activities under overseas employment. One of the activities of MoEWOE is to create skilled manpower through providing skills training on the trades that are highly demanded on the labor market in the abroad. During the seminar, Uttoron team introduced the project to the audience and shared the project objective, target and previous achievements with them.
