As Swisscontact Ghana implements complex, innovation-driven projects, the need for structured knowledge systems has become increasingly important. Projects such as GEP generate valuable insights through piloting climate-smart solutions, engaging diverse stakeholders, and adapting to evolving contexts. Without intentional systems, much of this learning risks being underutilized.
Facilitators emphasized that knowledge should not be treated as a by-product of implementation, but as a strategic resource that strengthens decision-making, supports scalability, and ensures long-term sustainability.
The Green Economy Project (GEP) is developing innovative ideas to reducing carbon emissions and energy costs. A wealth of knowledge will be generated by the project, and the team has now a clear vision and plan for capitalizing this knowledge for higher impact, scale and sustainability.
