Beneficiaries share how their perceptions of bank accounts has changed thanks to access to banking services facilitated by the Sarathi project. The Sarathi project has observed that wage digitization helps Ready-Made Garments (RMG) factories achieve improved efficiency through reduced transaction costs, higher productivity through faster transactions, and more transparent business management while promoting financial inclusion of RMG workers.
The Sarathi project is financed by MetLife Foundation. As part of the Swisscontact Development Programme, it is co-financed by SDC (Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, Federal Department of Foreign Affairs FDFA).
