First Cohort of French-Speaking Tour Guides Obtain Certificates

A group of trained tour guides has now joined the growing ranks of this occupation in Kosovo. At a ceremony organized on 24 April 2019 at Alliance Française in Pristina, the tour guides received the certificates of having successfully completed the specifically designed training program for French-speaking guides.

“For French-speaking tourists it is important to have reliable information in their own language, from trained people who are able to guide,” said Joseph Giustiniani, attaché for cooperation at the French Embassy in Kosovo, highlighting the need in Kosovo, especially in Pristina, for trained tour guides in French and other languages.

The training program for French-speaking guides was organized by Breathe In Travel, and supported by PPSE and the French Embassy in Kosovo.
