Regional Finance Manager MEWANA 100%

Key Responsibilities 

• Ensure sound financial management, donor compliance and audit readiness across the MEWANA region.
• Coordinate regional financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, indirect cost recovery and performance analysis.
• Monitor financial controls, governance requirements and risk management processes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and Corporate Finance requirements.
• Coordinate donor financial management for regional and multi-country projects, including financial compliance, grant setup, expenditure-eligibility monitoring, donor reporting, audit support and grant close-out, while ensuring alignment with organisational policies, governance requirements and Corporate Finance standards.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards, KPIs and management reporting.
• Drive effective use of financial systems, reporting tools and ERP solutions.
• Build finance capacity and promote knowledge sharing across country offices.
• Oversee regional treasury and cash-management matters, including cash-flow forecasting, liquidity monitoring, bank-account governance and foreign-exchange exposure.
• Drive effective use and governance of financial systems, reporting tools and ERP solutions, including finance-system interfaces, user access, data quality, systems rollouts and training.
• Monitor compliance with financial procurement controls and vendor due-diligence requirements across the region.
• Act as a trusted finance business partner to regional management and global finance functions.

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Finance and Accounting (ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial and operational accounting.
• Experience working in international and multi-country environments.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems, Power BI and financial reporting tools.
• Experience with donor-funded projects and donor compliance is an advantage.
• Fluent English and French, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated integrity, accountability and sound professional judgement.
• Strong communication, collaboration, change-management and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented and independent working style, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
