Erica Wu joined Swisscontact in April 2016 as a Programme Associate to support the start-up of the Cambodia country office, new business development, and project portfolios in skills, tourism, and financial inclusion. Currently in Cambodia and Laos, Erica is the Monitoring& Result Measurement (MRM) manager and Tourism Technical Officer of the Mekong Inclusive Growth and Innovation Programme (MIGIP). Prior to Swisscontact, Erica worked for the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Washington D.C. focusing on trade and competitiveness. She supported the Global Trade Supplier Finance program providing supply chain finance to emerging market exporters in China and Southeast Asia. She also supported structuring a loan to Indian government to develop a national system of Technology Centre.  

Started her career in with TATA Consultancy Services in Mumbai, Erica’s more than seven years of professional experience in private sector and non-government organizations also includes internship and consultancies with UNDP, ASHOKA, FINCA International, Global Goods Partners, and Trickle Up. Erica holds a Master of Public Administration specializing in international development from New York University, Wagner School of Public Service and has a BA in International Affairs from National Chengchi University in Taipei, Taiwan.
