Youth Employment Project and Partners signed Agreements for Intervention 3

The Youth Employment Project and the Partners Janahit Samaj Sewa Nepal, Sahayogi Samaj Nepal and Skill Nepal have signed agreements on 15th December 2017 at Swisscontact Nepal Office in Kathmandu for the execution of Skill Enhancement Training and related activities in the districts of Mahottari, Sarlahi, Morang and Sunsari starting in 2017.

 

Under these contracts the Partners will provide skills enhancement to 400 semi-skilled youth from Disadvantaged Groups of who one third will be female. Training will be for trades such as Building Electrician, Dress Maker, Motorcycle Service Mechanic and Mobile Phone Repair Technician; but besides technical content the training includes also soft skills. The Partners will further encourage the trainees to get recognition of their newly acquired skills by registering for Level 2 Skills Test of the National Skills Testing Board and support the graduates with job placement.
