During the event, SIPPO assisted the ministry in promoting Indonesia’s country pavilion to European exporters from the preparation stage, during and after the trade fair. SIPPO also introduced the sustainable fish and seafood principle guidelines and FAO guideline to the MMAF representatives to enrich and compliment Indonesia’s sustainability fish and seafood practices.
As part of one of its important mandate, SIPPO has provided learning experiences and capacity build the MMAF in promoting Indonesia’s country pavilion to wider international buyers and relevant fish and seafood stakeholders. SIPPO’s International expert also provided learning experience to the key representative of MMAF from the preparation to the after the fair follow up. In the future, the gained knowledge would equipped and applied by the ministry in another relevant upcoming event.
