First Senior Expert Corps (SEC) Assignment has commenced in Cambodia

The first Senior Expert Corps (SEC) assignment has commenced in Cambodia. On October 24, 2016. Mr. Alain Rohrbach arrived in Phnom Penh for the first SEC assignment with the National Committee for Tourism Professionals (NCTP) at the Ministry of Tourism (MoT). The National Committee for Tourism Professionals (NCTP) has been established by the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) with the aim of enhancing tourism skills development and facilitating the mobility of tourism professionals within ASEAN member states both in the Kingdom of Cambodia and other ASEAN member states.

Mr. Rohrbach has been involved with the SEC since 2009 and has been on SEC missions in countries like Benin, Uganda, Nepal, Bangladesh, Senegal and Bhutan. Mr. Rohrbach comes joins us with over forty years of professional experience in hospitality. While working with NCTP, he will contribute to the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment of the existing master trainers and master assessors in accordance with the ASEAN qualification package. Mr. Rohrbach will be providing technical capacity building to the NCTP staff on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and food and beverages service skills. Lastly, he will be assisting the NCTP in the promotion of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to the relevant stakeholders.
