The objective of the workshop was to bring attention to human resource development in tourism industry and to provide information on in-house training for low-skilled workers and owners/managers from hospitality enterprises.
The Hospitality In-house training was designed for owners/managers of hospitality businesses and low-skilled workers currently working in hotels, restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The course for owners/managers focuses on Service Excellence, Professionalism in Hospitality and overall knowledge of front and back office. For low-skilled workers, there are three courses for receptionists, room attendants and food & beverage servers. Each course has 12 modules.
This training aims at building the capacities of learners to improve their skills and ability to provide professional service for local and international guests, and to enable them to have better opportunities regarding their career pathways.
Registration is still opening for hospitality workers from the Kratie, Stung Treng and Preah Vihear who are interested to participate in the free training. Training time will be arranged to match the requirements of the learners. Training start will be in November 2018.
