Tasks

  • Coaching and training of the management of the project’s partner polytechnic institutes, in terms of systems and processes 
  • Supporting the development of the “dual like” training approaches in cooperation with the private sector
  • Supporting the improvement and strengthening of the overall VET system, incl. knowledge exchange and learning between VET system actors; and overall VET system reforms
  • Coordinating with the partner institutions planning, monitoring and reporting of assigned interventions.
  • Guiding and supervising assigned project team members 
  • Supporting the general administration, particularly in terms of human resources management and development
  • Maintain external relations with partner institutions, public relations, media, as well as external and internal communication
     

Requirements

  • Knowledge and relevant working experience in the Swiss and dual Vocational Education and Training (dVET) system
  • Experience in the implementation of school management systems and processes
  • Experience in the implementation of dual-training, apprenticeship training and/or workplace-based learning.
  • Degree and professional experience in a technical field; preferably in metal, wood, transportation, food processing or Tourism
  • Well established capacity to develop and execute plans with partners as well as to monitor and evaluate results
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to apply them in a specific cultural context
  • Ability to liaise with various stakeholders from private and public sector
  • Willingness to travel frequently to the locations of the partner polytechnic institutes
  • Solid experience in working with the private sector.
  • Proven experience of gender and social inclusion.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia would be an asset.
