Responsibilities

  • Managing and supervising the overall direction of the project implementation according to the project document
  • Assuring overall coherence of the project as well as project performance in line with the guidelines and targets
  • Establishing regular knowledge management and learning mechanisms between all key system stakeholders
  • Managing and supervising program work plans, budgets, and intervention frameworks

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) or higher degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Educational Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, or any other relevant field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in implementation of TVET-related project(s), including at least 5 years in a management position.
  • Knowledge and experience in the Swiss and Dual VET training systems
  • Understanding ASEAN, including its key stakeholders and mechanisms in the context of TVET.
  • Confirmed international experience in programme management and team management in complex settings across multiple countries.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the implementation of dual-training, apprenticeship training and/or workplace-based learning.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with development of competency-based occupational standards and curricula, assessment & certification processes, and drafting of regulations and/or guidelines related to TVET.
  • Proven experience in engaging with different government institutions, including influencing policy development.
  • Solid experience in working with the private sector.
  • Proven experience of gender and social inclusion.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
