Advisor Monitoring Result Measurement (MRM)

Tasks

• Maintain and further develop the MRM technical system-environment, manual and guidelines of SIPPO MRM in line with Swisscontact guidelines and SECO needs 
• Support the SIPPO Country Representatives in their advice to the Business Support Organisations (BSO) by review of and comment on: 
  • logframes and theory of change for the projects 
  • results chains for the interventions of the projects 
  • measurement plans and methods 
  • reports of results 
• Establish and maintain the aggregation of results on programme leven and contribute relevant KPI’s to the organization level of Swisscontact 
• Guide and support Country Representatives, Head of Operations and Head of Programme with the collection, management and interpretation of results 
• Continuously contribute to the refinement of the MRM-system SIPPO and the MRM standard of Swisscontact based on the feedbacks from Country staff, donor SECO, findings of internal and external reviews, own observations and international standards 

Requirements

• University or technical college degree in a relevant field (e.g. economics, research methods, evaluation, international development, business studies)
• At least five years of professional experience in the field of MRM/MEL, in progressively more senior roles
• Experience in the field of development cooperation and organisational development and knowledge of the EAZ's impact logic 
• Several years of experience in project management 
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications (e.g. MS Dynamics / Power Platform, PowerBi) prefered
• Experience with the MRM in the implementation of export promotion programs and with the MRM of complex, multi-country programs is an advantage
• Sensitivity in communication and in dealing with a multi-layered stakeholder network 
• Ability and willingness to push things forward and develop them further 
• Business fluent in German and English (spoken and written); other languages (French, Spanish) are an advantage
