South America

In Bolivia , Ecuador and Peru , Swisscontact is running projects on environmental protection, vocational training, the promotion of small- and medium-sized enterprises, and financial services. By far the most important objective is to create a better environment for small businesses, which are the most important employers and are, therefore, crucial in the fight against poverty. In addition, sustainable tourism is being actively encouraged in Bolivia.

Albanian Coaches learn in Lucerne

Young men and women from marginalized groups have limited access to the labour market. The AlbVET project implemented by Swisscontact targets such young people, and accompanies them through trained coaches on their path into employment.

Charity Concert

On November 20, 2011 SEEDAMM PLaza in Pfäffikon organized a charity concert for Swisscontact. The A-Capella-Group Bliss (www.bliss.ch) presented their extensive and humorous program. Almost 200 guests found their way to SEEDAMM PLAZA despite of the beautiful sunny weather. We thank the entire team of SEEDAMM Plaza, the music group Bliss as well as all generous donators.
